Supersymmetric Galilean Electrodynamics

A bstract In 2+1 dimensions, we propose a renormalizable non-linear sigma model action which describes the $$ \mathcal{N} N = 2 supersymmetric generalization of Galilean Electrodynamics. We first start with simplest obtained by null reduction relativistic Abelian 1 QED in 3+1 dimensions and study its renormalization properties directly non-relativistic superspace. Despite existence non-renormalization theorem induced causal structure dynamics, find that theory is non-renormalizable. Infinite dimensionless, gauge-invariant terms, combine into an analytic function, are generated at quantum level. Renormalizability then restored generalizing to where usual minimal coupling between gauge matter complemented infinitely many marginal couplings driven dimensionless scalar fermionic superpartner. Superconformal invariance preserved correspondence non-trivial conformal manifold fixed points interacting.

We derive the complete set of supersymmetric Ward identities involving only twoand threepoint proper vertices in supersymmetric QED. We also present the most general form of the proper vertices consistent with both the supersymmetric and U(1) gauge Ward identities.
